Recurring income without recurring work
50,000 Substack creators making exactly nothing from their audiences.
Jason here.
I was poking around Substack the other day…
And according to their numbers...
There are about 75,000 newsletters on the platform.
Only about 27,000 of them even have a paid option.
Which means there are roughly 50,000 people out there who spent years building an audience... and they’re making nothing from it.
That’s a lot of people waking up at 5am to write for free.
Now...
There may be some of those that scrape a few bucks together selling their course…
… or sticking an ad or two in from time to time.
But...
Do you think maybe one of those creators would be interested if someone showed up with something their subscribers would actually pay for?
What if you built a simple tool — something that solved a specific problem for their audience — and you offered to split the revenue with them?
They promote it.
You create it once (or partner with someone else to do it).
Everybody gets paid.
What if that deal was worth $500 a month? Or $1,000?
Stack a few of those up and suddenly you’ve got recurring income from audiences you didn’t have to build.
(And you didn’t have to spend two years posting into the void hoping someone notices. Which is nice.)
I’ve been doing this quietly for a while.
And I’ve been considering sharing if enough peeps are interested.
If you’re not knee-deep in candy canes and wrapping paper...
Would you kindly tap one of the options below?
In Your Corner,
Jason

The key is finding the problem that the newsletter writer is not solving for them. You'd think that was the main purpose of the writer.
