This is too crazy, I just finished reading Mustard seeds, shovels, and mountains! You're the first person I know who has even heard of Jim Straw. Very common sense guy!
If you have good leads, they'll take all you got. You aren't selling copy, your selling more customers and leads and they can use this proven copy under these conditions. A percentage of the revenue and a 6 month licensing fee of $999. And you have the right to verify their books. They must notify you when they use the copy so you can keep a record of the only authorized uses and the results of that use. So you can improve the copy. $10,000 fee due immediately in the event of unauthorized use.
Kicking the dirt around after your last post had me stumbling across Mr. Straw. Figured I was on the right track with my response to your question. There’s endless opportunity in being a “finder”.
This post really makes me think. The best buyers are sellers, and if you have a list of affiliates, then you can probably make more sales than if you had a list of red-hot buyers.
You can do this with intellectual property as well as land, I guess it would be easier with IP because there is an unlimited supply with the same amount of work. As long the affiliates have deep fat pocketed lists. Just six of them can give you a lot of juice.
I am starting to understand how you came up with the BEAMER offer. Lots of brain work happened in the Mojo Shack.
Jim Straw was a great gentleman and always willing to answer any questions you have. I know just the course you mentioned as I purchased it as well. I printed out a copy and read through it repeatedly at the time. I'll have to check where I put my copy to check it out again later. If you can help them sell even more of what they're selling or additional items at an even better price to increase their revenue they will take as many as you can offer. Just have to put this along with remembering to look for distribution > product.
I knew Jim Straw for years, and I have his $1,000 course. Interestingly enough, it's more than 20 years since I bought it, but I'm still talking about it and benefitting from it. How many info products can you say that about, no matter what their price?
Very interesting take on it. I love it. Definitely set you up for success.
Burning question though, wouldn't selling to other sellers take some of your sweet sweet margins? Like the land biz, I could see consistency with being the plug for the plug 🔌 but then you're only doubling your money and the land takes a while to find?
Very interesting concept. So, acquire a LOT at a low price, and sell it high to a buyer who is also a seller? Someone who will need a large volume of something? Like a wholesaler selling to a retailer?

Very interesting concept. I haven't heard of this gentleman but the information sounds fantastic.
I would take all the $$$ you can make for me.
They don't want emails, they want closed deals!!!

whats the name of the course?
I cold called Jim Straw at the very beginning of my career (2010), and never followed up. What a loss. He was a super nice guy!
Love it - supplying sellers at a price/quality the seller knows she can make money on all day...
For the copywriter- selling qualified leads is good - selling closed sales or deals is even better.
However, it’s easier (less work) for the Copywriter if they just book the appointment for the client.

Either way I'm sure you got an ace up your sleeve
