How I Create My Biggest Opportunities
Big opportunities are best created and not "found" by chance...
If you can go out and create big opportunities on demand, would there be any limits on money? On life?
I’ve been raisin’ hell for 54 years.
46 of those making money.
I sold Mom’s knit-covered coat hangers around 8 years old.
I called them Coat Hangers with The Kung Fu Grip.
It was the 70s and Kung Fu was all the rage.
But they really did grip cotton and polyester clothes.
Way better than straight wire coat hangers.
Now, I was only allowed to sell them in my neighborhood.
That was a problem after I sold every neighbor I could.
What would you do?
Would you just say we “exhausted” the market?
That’s what I thought too.
But, my family got in a financial bind.
Mom said, “Travy you gotta go sell more coat hangers.”
I was the oldest of 4 and Mom was single at the time.
Desperate times call for those desperate measures, right?
I was nervous in the service to try and sell folks who already slammed the door in my face and shouted at me, “NOT INTERESTED!”
So, I did what I was less scared to do.
Go try and sell the people who already bought some Coathangers with a Kung Fu Grip and see if I could sell them more, maybe in different colors?
Ya know what happened?
I CRUSHED IT!
My assumption about them already buying and not needing anymore was totally wrong.
They were HAPPY to see me!
And they put in HUGE ORDERS…to me anyhow.
I remember how relieved mom looked when I handed her all the money and orders.
And I didn’t know it then, but I’d discovered the way I’d make MOST of my big breakthroughs and opportunities for the rest of my life.
Now, I’d like to share it with you…

How to Create BIG OPPORTUNITIES on DEMAND!
-Find an assumption that is holding you back from a result you want in your life. (Example Assumption: I need 60-minute phone calls to make big ticket sales.)
-Reverse the assumption (I don’t need 60-minute phone calls to make big ticket sales.)
-Ask, ”How can this be true for me?” Or state, “This would be impossible unless ___________?” keep asking until your brain hurts and your hand tires from writing. The answer will usually pop in AFTER you’ve exhausted yourself. It may even come later when you’ve taken your mind off the question.
(Example: Getting people to buy big ticket without a phone call would be impossible unless the sale REALLY happened BEFORE we ask for the money.)
-Test the new assumption in the real world! You must ignore all the old programming of the old (false) assumption.
-Observe and adjust until you you make the “impossible” possible.
-Make the new magic happen in your life at least a dozen times.
-See if you can make the magic work for a few current clients or folks in your inner circle. Observe and adjust until you make the “impossible” possible for them.
-Now unleash your magic on the world.
-Get throngs of raving fans and mucho richer!
