I love this story. After listening to some of your audio trainings my mind has started to understand that the world is full of unused assets practically waiting for someone to put them to good use. I specifically learned from your trainings that this is very similar to how the huge company uber, airbnb, and Facebook all built their empires. Do you have any offer trainings or programs we might look into to implement this offer-ring-O-power?!
Marijuana Assets In Thailand Are Everywhere—and I'll prove it!
Hey, I'm Ian.
And I play the 'find a hungry crowd' game, as much as possible.
I live in Thailand.
And Thailand is the first Asian country to legalize weed, and there is a thriving market—a geyser of assets gets spewed out daily!
It feels unfair just how uncontested the opportunities are in this space at the moment.
Of course, most jump into the weed biz the long way around...
Buy expensive stuff to grow, start a farm, and not once think about distribution, marketing, or green fly eats the buds...
A better way to enter the business is to listen to every word Travis teaches, sit back, get lit, and think about the players on the board.
We have yet to determine what we will do; we look for assets.
Here we go:
Get control of assets in the Thai marijuana market.
Crowd or Distribution (who has it already?)
2022 - Cannabis Cup organizers
— how can I help them?
Could you get them a sponsor for 2023?
English language newsletter
— who will sponsor them?
The same people who already have distribution:
Bangkok Coffee Shops
Home delivery dispensaries
Who else is in the game?
Act - Bangkok digital radio stations (YouTube)
Merch - Bangkok artists
----
That list is incomplete; you could write one quickly.
I want to return to look at 'Home delivery dispensaries' from the list above. They have distribution to people's homes. Coffee shops wish to have more customers. How many times has Travis told us the story of the lunchtime fax menu?
What else?
It's endless, really, as the market is so new.
Seems an extreme example right?
How would you do that in the USA where weed has been legal for years?
I'd start by looking at the local players and seeing what assets are kicking around. I draw up a list of all those assets and then I'd look for what Travis calls Trash can assets. And go from there.
My take away is to look for assets in your niche or line of work that people aren't utilizing and create an offer that benefits them and yourself. This also makes the asset more valuable because its being used fully vs just sitting there.

Hi… I loved that story because it’s all about TWO things we (usually) suffer from:
1. Not taking action.
2. Overcoming the FEAR of, “What IF it doesn’t work?!!”
That is my daily thing, so I just:
1. I do it anyway.
2. When I stop, I start again by reading Rule #1..!
That’s my take on the moral of that story! :-)
Talk soon…

I remember this story well. It's a good reminder about what is possible, but perhaps we just don't see it. Got to take the blinkers off.
what an inspiring story! I want to have a story like w me as the main character to share w my future kids and set an example!

This one gave me ideas. Thank you Travis :)
Everything is figureoutable if it is important to you
It seems to me that thinking when paired with action and testing is a magical formula. Good things come in threes....

Stories like this really make it clear, would love to see more of these type of example posts!
