100 years ago…

In 1924, automobiles were becoming more popular than horses.

It would still be 3 years before the first television was invented.

There were no microwaves!

You had to bake a potato for an hour!

(and no Hot Pockets!)

Now, we can push a few buttons on an app and get Chinese food delivered while we stream Fargo on our big-screen TVs!

Life is good when you have POWER TOOLS!

But…

In 2024, most folks are still using MANUAL tools to make money.

Just like…

Life was hard when you had to wash clothes on a washboard and hang clothes on a line outside to dry.

Life is tough when you’ve got to trade time for money the old-fashioned way.

I know because I did it for 3 decades. It felt like 3 centuries!

I wish someone would’ve handed me a power tool for income and showed me how to use it YEARS earlier than I found it alone.

I missed so many birthdays and anniversaries, and I put off the last fishing trip with my dad until he passed and went to the big fishing hole in the sky.

I can never get that time back.

I know Dad doesn’t blame me.

He was a carpenter.

He used old-fashioned income tools, too.

There weren’t the power tools for income we have today.
